How it works
Getting set up
Invite the bot
Add GlassRelay to your server and pick the roles you want to sell. One thing that trips people up: drag the bot's own role above those roles in your server settings, or Discord won't let it hand them out.
Connect PayPal or Stripe
Paste in your keys. Both can be switched on at once, and the member picks one at checkout.
Price your roles
Monthly, one-time, or pay-what-you-want, with coupons and a free trial if you want them. A role can carry more than one price.
Share your link
Members pay on your storefront page and the bot adds the role, usually before they've tabbed back to Discord.

Common questions
What does it cost?
A flat monthly plan, and the free tier costs nothing. PayPal and Stripe still charge their own per-payment fees, same as they would if you sold without us.
How do refunds work?
Refund a payment from the dashboard with one click, and choose whether the member keeps their role. A refund made directly in PayPal or Stripe still gets picked up and matched to the payment it came from.
What happens on a chargeback?
It's settled between you and PayPal or Stripe, and any fees or reversals land on your account. Whether the member loses the role they bought is your call, set per storefront in the dashboard.
Who handles taxes?
You do. You're the seller, so sales tax is yours to collect and pay, the same as if you'd invoiced the member yourself.
Can I offer coupons and free trials?
Yes. You set them up per product from the dashboard and decide how long each one lasts.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes, all of it, whenever you want. Everything downloads as CSV from the dashboard, and the same records come back over the REST API.
What does the bot need?
It doesn't read messages. The only permission it asks for is Manage Roles, which is what lets it add and remove the roles you sell.
Why do three of the four plans say coming soon?
Early access runs on the free tier for everyone, and the paid plans switch on at the public release. If you signed up before then, you keep founder pricing when they do.
What if GlassRelay shuts down?
Members keep the roles they already have and your PayPal and Stripe accounts carry on as normal, since they were always yours. You'd export your records on the way out, same as if you'd left on your own.

Coming from Upgrade.Chat or Ko-fi? Bring your history with you.
Upload the export file from either one and your dashboard opens on your real history instead of an empty chart. Old rows stay tagged as brought-in, so next year you can still tell them apart from sales you made here.
